Representative Roberson received the “Order of The Long Leaf Pine,” for his thirty-one years of service at Wake Technical Community College on July 26th, 2021. This award is among the most prestigious awards conferred by the Governor of North Carolina that is presented to individuals who have a proven record of exemplary service to the State of North Carolina and their communities. The Order of the Long Leaf Pine is the highest civilian award for state service granted by the Office of the Governor.
